When I talk about aligning one’s mind back with their body and soul, I am saying one needs to largely examine all their inherited beliefs and dismiss those not aligned with them. Dismiss what INSULTS THEIR SOUL.
HOW DO MIND, BODY AND SOUL WORK TOGETHER?
Your body will experience a sensation, your mind will follow that sensation with curiosity, thus allowing your soul to process the experience as a necessary process of your current NOW. Because you understand that LIFE, life itself, is an EXPERIENTIAL DATA GATHERING PROCESS – when you ALLOW IT.
THIS IS THE REAL WORLD. Letting your inner experience shape your truth.
On the other hand, when your body experiences a sensation, the unaligned mind INTERPRETS IT before allowing the process to unfold, thereby limiting its potential. It does this from its INHERITED BELIEFS.
Unaligned mind: So if the sensation the body feels is ‘heavy’ or ‘low’, the mind says ‘oh now, I’m depressed; and depressed is WRONG – I shouldn’t be feeling this (inherited belief), what am I to do?!’. Then that person will visit a GP (who also believes this heaviness is ‘wrong’) and quite often issues a script (believing a tablet is ‘right’). All the while both patient and GP are IGNORING this sensation that keeps re-occuring – and it is doing so because it is seeking to be processed. That is NOT WRONG, IT IS RIGHT!
Aligned mind: So, the aligned mind would say: mmmm, my body is signalling something, I’m feeling this heaviness and it keeps re-occurring. I need to understand what my body is signalling. Using my awareness and staying open-minded and curious, I will follow this sensation and see where it leads.
And you know what? It will always lead to an insight – really about a belief one has held. Examples of limiting beliefs (i.e. beliefs that DO NOT SUIT EVERYONE) include:
My response – but mine alone;
you will have your own!
|Confrontation is wrong||Is it? Why? If it allows you to be your advocate? Someone needs to be…|
|Conflict is bad||Conflict is as natural and necessary as breathing – for a societal race. It offers transformation and growth because it allows us to embrace diversity. Fear of conflict is worse than conflict itself.|
|You always need to stay polite||But to your detriment? Where is your self-preservation? Staying true to you is most important.|
|Never wear your heart on your sleeve at work||Why? Does having an open heart show weakness? I think it shows tremendous courage…|
|You should only ever be with the one person||But if you struggle with this, then why is this belief right for you?|
|You have to work hard||Do you? What is work? Work is SOUL EXPRESSION. When we can express our souls we work hard because we love what we do! Choose what expands you, not what limits you..|
|You have to get good marks at school||But mainstream school only caters to a small amount of the population… and ‘dumbs’ down the rest using hypnotic techniques such as testing/ranking and reiterating your lack of ability, IGNORING YOUR INHERENT ABILITY WHICH IT HASN’T CATERED TO!|
|School is important||As above; growing into your true ingenuity is important – whatever that may be, whether school caters to it or not.|
|The GP knows best||The GP is just an example here. No-one knows what’s best for your health as much as you do. If his/her suggestion doesn’t seem ‘right’ then don’t follow it. Simple.|
|You must listen to authority||Really? You are your own authority. If an authority figure asks you to inject steroids so you can be a better athlete, but this doesn’t seem ‘right’ for you, should you?!|
|You must choose work that pays the bills||You must choose work that expresses YOU. Work is ‘love made manifest’. Fear of lack enslaves you to this ridiculous form of ‘energy exchange’ we call MONEY.|
Think of it like this:
Our mind + body+ soul = work like a computer; and the USER is the organiser of all three (I’ll talk about the ‘user’ in another post). The user ensures the computer has all it needs to work optimally.
Now, if the mind (= operating system – O/S) thinks it has to do all the work, the computer is not going to work well because it is going to ignore its own hardware (body) and software (soul). And the user can only do so much. The user tries to point out to the O/S that something is wrong – it’s ignoring it’s hardware and software. The user even retrieves data (=memories) the O/S needs so it ‘recalls’ how to work better, but still it keeps crashing! The more it crashes the more it realises it needs to ‘upgrade’.
And so the beliefs that insult your soul form part of your dysfunctional O/S; waiting patiently for your upgrades…
And there it is. There’s a whole lot more I can say about having an aligned mind, body and soul. Most of all – it’s empowering. You no longer doubt your inner experience, you just begin to question your outer world. And how else can we create the world we all know we deserve, if we don’t question the outer???
In love and gratitude,
