How to Move On – Is there a way?
Sometimes we find ourselves heart-broken, in despair, depressed, sad, frustrated, angry.
There are a myriad of painful emotions from which we hear ourselves or others say “move on”.
And what we really want to scream out is “How to Move On!?”
Because thing is, this ‘advice’ never feels right to our internal BS meter though, even if our logical mind says “yeah you should do that!”
To be honest, I will tell you what our internal BS meter – and all the feelings we’re experiencing – are trying to shout out:
IT’S NOT ABOUT MOVING ON!
Moving into the future when your present is savagely in your face creates INTERNAL BATTLE; thereby stirring even MORE emotions you really don’t need!
The battle is: the pained side wants to go to the past, the solver side wants to look to the future.
The real way of How to Move On is: Not To!
So all we can do then is ask: “OK, so what does the wisdom of my experience want to say to me”?
If I may answer, and this could not align with your BS meter, but here I go:
It says surrender. It says let go. It says all you have to do is:
ACCEPT YOUR NOW
ACCEPT YOUR EXPERIENCE.
YOUR PAINS, YOUR HURTS.
LOVE WHERE YOU ARE AT
BECAUSE MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, THESE PAINS AND THESE HURTS ARE SIMPLY YOUR SOUL BECKONING YOU HOME.
Beckoning you to turn around, stop looking outside of you for everything you need
And realise it was waiting inside of you all along.
It’s all about loving YOU.
When a baby needs your attention it makes noise. Do you ignore it and keep on with your day? Or do you pick it up and cuddle it, tell it everything will be OK? SOOTHE IT?
Your self needs your attention. Its making NOISE.
Pick it up and SOOTHE IT.
It’s time you came home.
